At 0pass, your mission extends beyond traditional software engineering. You will be our bulwark, defending data across erse sectors from healthcare to aerospace and government. You’ll build the product while ensuring the highest level of confidentiality, integrity, and security for our systems and networks. The ideal candidate brings a breadth of experience across software engineering and multiple security domains, including system/infrastructure, application, identity management, and network security. Responsibilities

* Build the product, and influence product strategy alongside leadership and customers.

* Maintain and support existing software, systems, infrastructure, and production environments.* Create implementation documents describing new feature additions. Ideally these allow us to go fast without impacting security.* Create new features and applications.* Act as a technical resource for customers when needed.

Required skills

* Deep experience in modern programming languages (e.g. Python, Rust, Go, C#, C++, Java).

* Experienced on the Linux command line.* Familiarity with deploying applications with Docker.* Practical understanding and use of cryptography.* Security first mindset when approaching problems.* Excellent communication skills.

Preferred skills

* Advanced python experience managing large codebases

* Django experience (ideally, you understand Django deeply, including things like sessions and middleware)* Security experience across multiple domains: Operating systems (Windows, Linux, Mac), network, application security* Systems experience (Linux, Windows, Active Directory, etc)* Container orchestration experience (Docker, K8s, EKS, etc)* Understands how to implement and leverage cryptography andX509/ASN1* Experience with SAML, OIDC, and OAuth* Experience with PIV and WebAuthn* Knowledge of and experience of implementing preventative measures for SANS Top 25 software errors and OWASP Top 10 web app vulnerabilities
