< class="h2">🙌 The role < class="h5">Data at Learnerbly

Learnerbly is looking for a data lead to help drive our growth, data insight and business intelligence as we continue to scale. Reporting into Jonny Day, our COO we'll need you to own our data pipework, business intelligence and data insights, partnering with all areas of the business to inform, educate and influence rapid decision making.

You are passionate about data, data architecture and business intelligence. You are confidently able to collect, store and hold data. You will be the keeper and warden of our data lake coupled with your ability to then fish, siv and cultivate information, insight and knowledge from the ecosystem you have created. You are highly curious by nature and understand how marketing, sales, CRM, finance, app and operational data can arm and enable others to drive change and guide efficiency. Finally you are passionate about using data to paint the picture and tell the story required for each department. Your insights, dashboards and automations will drive alignment focus and deliver marginal gains across the organisation.

Working closely with our commercial teams you will love collaboration (because we really do 🙂) and you will have where possible customer first, growth and product centric. You're not phased by changing priorities and focus, you know how to adapt quickly and use your experience, data and business intelligence to course correct. You have a keen eye for growth and are capable in using the latest in sales, marketing, finance, operations and business intelligence software.

Joining at this early stage will give you a role with huge autonomy as you act as a guiding light for our data and business intelligence team within Learnerbly. Identifying opportunities as they appear, you will be able to adapt to drive them through successfully. With the support of the rest of Learnerbly, we will be looking to you to build a high performing data team that will set us up for success as we continue to scale.

< class="h5">What you'll be getting up to
  • Building, forming and creating our new data and business intelligence team. (Lay the foundations for future success)
  • You will work very closely with our COO, Senior project manager and Head of Finance to define the direction, vision and strategy of the data function within Learnerbly.
  • Leverage our existing systems, tools and tech stack to centralise data, insight and knowledge into one place.
  • Educate, upskill and document where, how and why data can be used more effectively within each department.
  • Work very closely with the revenue, finance, operations, engineering and product teams (Sales, Customer Success, Data and Partnerships).
< class="h5">This role will be a great fit if
  • You have proven experience building an international (B2B/B2C)SaaS business from Series A+.
  • You have a deep interest and passion for data analytics, data insight, business intelligence and informational story telling.
  • You have a 'customer first' mindset and the intuition to understand our customers needs and aspirations.
  • You have a curious mindset and understand how to arm others with the data and insight they need to drive impact, action and change.
  • You have experience in using Segment, Quicksight, Mixpanel, Google Analytics, Chargebee, Databox and Hubspot.
  • You have led best-in-class data teams, have designed data roadmaps, can prioritise them based on impact and outcomes, and you have consistently overachieved your quantified objectives.
  • You're comfortable recruiting, coaching and line managing a team of multi-disciplined data analysts, architects and scientists.
  • You're collaborative and understand the principles of how product, revenue and operations align to drive focus and value.
  • You're great at writing OKRs and setting the direction of a newly formed data function to ensure your team remain protected from the demands of the business to focus on key priorities.
