Role Overview

KORE Planning & Insights (KPI) is KORE's consulting practice providing key insights and expertise to the Sport & Entertainment industry in addition to our best-in-class software. KPI works with rights-holders, brands and agencies delivering integrated analysis and strategy on all aspects of sports business.

This team member will report directly to the Sr. Director Global Analytics & Strategy and will focus on projects for rights holders and brand clients. The focus will be in partnership analytics solutions (partnership valuation and evaluation) as well as advisory solutions (Go-to-market, partnership strategy). Furthermore, the role will work alongside KORE Software's insights, success, and product teams to identify opportunities to incorporate solutions into its suite of products, and work with the new business team to expand KPI's business.

The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, able to meet deadlines, detail-oriented, data-focused, and have a strong ability to work well in a team-based setting with internal and external stakeholders. They will be expected to take ownership of client projects, assume responsibility for delivering great work and the ability to act as a trusted advisor to our clients. This will require strong project management, excellence in presentation building and delivery, as well as an in-depth understanding of sponsorship and marketing in the sports & entertainment industry They're also expected to  demonstrate the ability to build data visualizations (Tableau/PowerPoint), and show the technical aptitude to expand their SQL scripting skills.

Duties and Responsibilities

Client Strategy

Partnership Advisory

  • Leverage our deep relationships and knowledge base with agencies, brands, rights holders, and consumers across the globe to create strategies that drive both brand value and business results for our clients and their partners.
  • Make informed recommendations to clients based upon their objectives, market trends, measurement, value drivers, potential opportunities etc.
  • Facilitate the work to inform the strategy for key partner programs, and identification of growth opportunities to be used in renewals and negotiations.

Partnership Analytics

  • Combine KPI's unique insights and technological expertise with additional research tools to inform strategy, partnership evaluation, and value associated with ROI & ROO.
  • Provide partners with dynamic measurement and reporting across key metrics, and demonstrate performance of partners across a variety of data types and sources.
  • Help implement the data analytics vision for business decision making through Tableau dashboard design for clients.
  • Leverage data and reporting to drive greater adoption into customer software products

Account Management

  • Leads the day-to-day management of select clients, with a focus on working directly with client team members, executing deliverables, measuring/analyzing data points, and providing strategic recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure that projects are produced according to SOW, on-time, and are aligned with client expectations and budgets.

Strategy & Offerings

  • Identify offerings that KPI can provide clients & prospects to optimize commercial potential, and maximize current partnerships
  • Work closely with KORE's success and sales organizations to understand current needs from both software and consulting clients, and design scalable product offerings to address client needs Monitor trends in the sports, entertainment, and technology landscapes to keep team members and executives up to date, and identify new opportunities.

Revenue Generation

  • Design custom solutions for clients based on KPI's current offerings, along with the technical aspects needed to support them. Comfortable with how solutions can work within, and without the KORE Software suite of products.
  • Works with sales and success team members to develop presentations and SOW's
  • Lead presentations of proposals to clients both in written formats as well as face to face presentations
  • Work with marketing team to develop internal education and sales material to be leveraged by the customer success and sales teams

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree required, MBA preferred.
  • 3+ years of business strategy, consulting, or agency experience (preferably in the sports/entertainment industry)
  • 1+ year(s) experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBI, Looker)
  • Experience with SQL, SAS, R, Python, and/or another statistical programming language a plus
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite, particularly with PowerPoint, Word and Excel
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills
  • Knowledge of sponsorship and the sports industry
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both a written and verbal context with external end-users and internal colleagues

Salary Range: $90,000 to $100,000 (dependent upon experience)
