Part Time Admissions Representative, Top of Funnel

Flatiron School is seeking a Part Time Admissions Representative to join our team. As an Part Time Admissions Representative, you’ll contact prospective students, understand their career and life goals, and help them navigate the courses and careers that Flatiron School offers. You’ll be the front line of the school, a true expert in Flatiron School’s products and course offerings.

At Flatiron School, you will have the opportunity to contribute meaningfully to the rapid growth of our organization by helping students change their lives through a career in Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Product Design, or Data Science. We craft our classes carefully and look for students who share our values. We seek out highly-motivated and passionate students from hundreds of prospective students in each market for each discipline.

You will be responsible for sourcing applicants, cultivating our values in prospective students, and moving students toward enrollment in our courses. Persistence and a desire to make an impact will prove crucial in this role as we work to expand our course offerings to students across the country. This position is Part Time, up to 29 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • After prospective students submit an inquiry, you will communicate energetically and warmly Flatiron School’s programs, features, and benefits with a high volume of prospective students (100+ / day) over the phone, chat, video calls, and email daily.
  • Respond to inbound student inquiries swiftly via chat, email, phone, and SMS.
  • Assess student goals and concerns and guide students from interest to application.
  • Assist in testing and iterating outreach strategies, always finding ways to improve our processes.
  • Work cross-functionally within our organization by partnering with our account executives, community teams, education delivery, career services, and marketing to provide a seamless student experience.
  • Staff regular admissions-related events as needed.
  • Partner with Enterprise to support existing and upcoming deals.
  • Follow all standard operating procedures and abide by all policies set by leadership unless approval for deviation is granted by management.

Expected Compensation:

  • $21.50-$24/hr
