The Role 🚀

We're looking for a Founding Engineer to join us in putting the \"R\" back in CRM, while building the most accurate social graph ever created for B2B sales teams. This role will operate as a founding engineer building the future of Vector's product, and the start of creating a world-class engineering team.

As previous Go-To-Market execs, Nick (Co-Founder, COO) and Josh (Co-Founder, CEO) know how to identify the needs of our users and build an enduring company. We're looking for a talented and equally hungry engineer who wants to make an epic product.

You will play a key role in the early design of our web application architecture and the development of our Engineering and Product teams. You will have the opportunity to not only architect and build systems, but also shape the organization itself. This is a high ownership, impact, and visibility role in building a product that will directly impact the future of Vector. Vector engineers will become an expert in the industry and spend time talking to users, planning our product roadmap, and working on go-to-market initiatives. As an early member of a new team, you’ll also play a major role in shaping the team’s culture and organization to help us scale.

What You'll Do

* Build!!! Personally translate product roadmap into code (we're looking for someone with strong opinions who can level us up, and understands the balance between moving quickly and building for scalability)

* Ship new, innovative technology at a high velocity* Listen to users and help shape what we build* Own engineering team growth from 0-to-1, and lead the organization to new levels as Vector scales* Innovate with AI technology that injects outstanding value for our customers* Organize 100PB of Company, Prospect, and Intent data into an easy-to-use relationship scoring system using a Neo4j graph.

What We're Looking For

* 6+ years building in a production environment and founding engineer experience

* Experience with ETL for large volumes (PB of data) in production settings (ad network/big data experience a plus)* Familiarity with graph DB technology like Neo4J* Experience building Python-based REST backends in a microservices framework* Familiarity leading and managing cloud cost optimization exercises for high leverage systems* Fullstack experience with an emphasis on system architecture and data engineering. Build features in, but not limited to: user management, access control, Stripe, endpoints/business logic, early stage database design.* Ready to work with cutting edge LLMs, process PBs of data, and own integrated solutions that customers will love* Ability to communicate clearly and empathetically with folks who have different working styles* Previous industry experience in B2B Sales Tech. and confidence in speaking with CROs / VP, Sales* Has taken a product from 0-to-1 within an early stage environment* Act as an owner: Do whatever it takes to hit product deadlines and be comfortable stepping outside a typical job description* This position is for U.S. based applicants only
