About the role

FireHydrant is excited to hire two Executive Administrators to support our growing Leadership team. These individuals will provide administrative and team event support to leadership that may include our CEO, CTO, VPs and department heads. Executive Administrators (also known as Sr. Executive Assistants) are the force that enables our Leadership Team by ensuring that they have the infrastructure in place to do their best work. The ideal candidate for this role demonstrates resourcefulness, has a keen eye for detail, shows empathy and poise, and, (for a role that can be a balance of working quickly on urgent matters at a company called FireHydrant) is a firefighter in every way. 🙂

The work you’ll do

  • Provide strategic support to ensure that our leaders have the time, and resources needed to accomplish FireHydrant’s goals.
  • Schedule meetings and manage complex calendars for leaders you support; clearly and empathetically communicate to leaders so that they are apprised of calendar changes aligned to their priorities
  • Design, and execute your leaders’ department and team onsites (including site research, meals, entertainment, and transportation) throughout the year
  • Manage and book travel arrangements for your leaders
  • Collaborate with other members of the People+Administrative Team, by participating in weekly meetings, and special projects, as well as providing back-up support for your teammates

What we’re looking for

  • Proven ability to support senior leaders in administrative and operational tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated excellent judgment and discretion when navigating sensitive matters
  • Ability to identify and communicate priorities to ensure leaders are informed and engaged in operational matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills that reflect thoughtfulness, clarity and brevity
  • Experience with Google Workspace, particularly Google Calendar and Gmail
  • Spirit of generosity and resourcefulness to solve problems and enable the success of others
  • Willingness to travel to team and all-company onsites periodically throughout the year

FireHydrant believes that everyone should be compensated fairly and we strive for transparency within our organization and the industry. We set our salaries at the 75th percentile of pay for the San Francisco market using compensation data from hundreds of companies at our stage. Additionally, everyone in a given role is paid the same without adjusting for locality. The salary for this position is $125,000 or $155,000 depending on leveling.
