• Plan, analyze, and create visual solutions to communication problems
• Develop overall layout and production design of publications or web interfaces as they relate to graphic design
• Prepare sketches or layouts to present to a client. Create charts and graphs from the data given
• You’ll work within the Design Guidelines to deliver impact and delight, but your role is also to push and challenge assumptions through productive debate, which ultimately leads to innovation and better outcomes
• The Creative Team is the client’s dynamic internal creative agency embedded within the marketing organization. Collectively, the team defines, articulates, and scales how millions of users experience and connect with the brand from a multitude of dimensions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in design or related field preferred, and Associate’s degree in design and/or certificate in graphic design required

• Ability to visualize in 2D and 3D and understand aesthetic aspects of design
• You are an expert in the Adobe suite of products, Figma, Keynote, and Microsoft Office

Speaking frankly, it will definitely help you if you have some experience in designing, but no you technically don’t as long as you have a high base-rate of competency and can learn very, very quickly.

--Do I need a college degree?--

You just need to be awesome and can produce a lot of designs (from simple and boring to detailed and fun) in a reasonable amount of time.

--Is there any specific skill that I need to have?--

You should be proficient with design tools, mainly Adobe Suite’s Photoshop and Illustrator. Other than that, we will train you for everything else. This is a junior position, so we don’t expect you to create wonders. But you should be able to pick things up and improve quickly upon receiving feedback.

--What are the expectations from the position?--

As mentioned above, we don’t expect you to deliver perfect designs on day one, but we do expect you to be a fast learner and consistently improve your design skills based on our training during this period.

We will heavily invest in you, so you better bring your A-game :)

--Are there any geographic restrictions?--

As long as you are in a country that doesn’t have active sanctions from the US government, we are interested. Our founder isn’t known for respecting the government much, but they have all the guns, so…

--How much can I expect to make?--

Right now, we want awesome people that can grow with us. We definitely want to pay you what you’d like to make, but we also have a somewhat limited budget compared to the big players in the field. Don’t think that you’re limited in how much you can make by how much you are hired for. We treat people really f*cking well, so once we see you’re a rockstar we’re happy to pay you more.

The role

The success of Clay lies in creating all of the app's stunning content and high-performing code in-house. About the role

Position Overview

Exact Science’s Customer & Digital Experience (CDX) team is responsible for defining, driving, and delivering innovative, immersive, memorable customer-centric journeys for all our customers, across all channels (digital and physical). These journeys are grouped by Customer Types (e.g., Patient, Provider) and further categorized into a set of Experiences (e.g., Understand Risks & Complete Screening, Confirm Diagnosis). Each Experience has a set of specific, measurable Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) that the overall team is accountable to fulfill.

The Sr UX Designer is responsible for driving/facilitating the realization of the UX strategy and vision for multiple Journeys (e.g., 3+) within a given Experience. In the journeys, this position must account for a holistic Service Design, which encompasses all touchpoints with a given customer, both digital and physical. This position is responsible for addressing the business, user, and technology UX requirements through continuous analysis, iteration, solutioning, and delivery.

With a customer-centric, digital-first approach, and in collaboration with development teams, business stakeholders, strategy, research, product, and analytics teams, this role will help build out Journeys and frameworks in the form of: information architectures, design systems, low to high fidelity prototypes, task and workflow modeling, rapid iterative usability testing, in-depth testing, best-practice implementation, and ensuring the ongoing practical and creative quality of user experience.

Essential Duties

Include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Facilitate effort to collaborate with CDX Strategists, CDX Researchers, the Experience Management & Capability team and the respective Experience Design team members to produce Service Design deliverables (e.g., Service Blueprints) for multiple Journeys (e.g. 3+) in a given Experience that are integrated, cross-touchpoint, cross-Customer Type, and Cross-Experience/Journey.
• Facilitate the design, execution, and incorporation of user research into the design of the relative Journeys.
• Lead the use of Design Thinking, storytelling, and conceptual prototypes to compellingly convey the vision, flow, and features of the products/services being designed.
• Lead creation and adoption of design systems, website interaction models, information architectures, user task flows, and screen designs; turn complex information into intuitive graphics, charts, and other forms of visualization data.
• Drive use of ideation and sketching for storyboards and prototyping; create low- and medium-fidelity prototypes to test proposed Journeys.
• Lead the adaption of the enterprise wide UX best practices, standards, principles, and design thinking processes for use by the respective UX, Product, and Engineering teams; serve as an advocate for these standards, principles, processes.
• Mentor UX Designers to design innovative and compelling user experiences and corresponding deliverables: wireframes, information architecture diagrams, user flows, comps, and prototypes. The annual base salary shown is a national range for this position on a full-time basis and may differ by hiring location. Niftic is looking a skilled and seasoned senior visual designer to join our vibrant team of strategists, designers, and developers. We’re looking for a creative maverick with impeccable taste, a broad set of tools, and experience working in branding. 

In this role, you’ll play a crucial role in conceptualizing and bringing to life exceptional brand experiences. As a senior member, you’ll work closely with Niftic’s creative director, spearheading various and erse projects from inception to implementation. Collaborating closely with our cross-functional team, your experience will drive innovative, strategic, and visually stunning solutions.

Role Responsibilities

Your role entails crafting unique and strategic brand experiences, leading and executing strategic digital project designs, and maintaining design quality throughout all project phases. You'll be an integral part of our creative team, bringing your ability to come up with innovative, visual solutions across a range of design challenges, tell incredible stories with visuals, and the hands-on skills and attention to detail to back it up. Other responsibilities for this role include:

• Work in tandem with Niftic’s creative director to steer the design process by generating innovative ideas, concepts, and visual designs for brand development & digital projects.

• Collaborate with clients & internal teams to understand project goals and audience needs, and translate them into effective, engaging, cross-platform branded experiences and systems.

• Create wireframes, user flows, and prototypes to effectively communicate design concepts and interactions.

• Develop high-fidelity visual designs, incorporating user-centered design principles & best practices in UI/UX design.

• Ensure consistency and quality of design deliverables throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concepts to final implementation.

• Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and design tools, and share knowledge and insights with the team to drive innovation and foster a collaborative environment.

• Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate implementation of designs and maintain design integrity during the development phase.

• Conduct usability testing and gather user feedback to iterate and improve design solutions based on user needs and behaviors.

• Act as a design advocate, presenting and articulating design concepts, strategies, and solutions to teams and clients.

Qualifications

We are looking for iniduals with a keen interest in digital projects, interactive design, branding, and concept-led design. You should have a deep understanding of UX principles, a passion for graphic expression, and a curiosity to explore. You have the ability to tell a complete story; take a concept and execute it to a full system. Other key qualifications include:

• A erse and strong portfolio showcasing your experience in designing a wide range of experiences through various stages of brand building - from ambiguity to final brand guidelines.

• At least 5 years as a designer creating brands, experiences, and systems.

• Expert proficiency in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other design tools is essential. Knowledge of After Effects, prototyping tools, PowerPoint, and Google Slides is a plus.

• Solid understanding of user-centered design principles, information architecture, and interaction design.

• Experience in creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity visual designs that demonstrate a deep understanding of UI/UX best practices.

• Articulate and creative writing skills to thoroughly communicate the story, differentiation, and strategic 'why' behind your work.

• A team-oriented mindset and excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to present and articulate design concepts to teams and clients.

• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality designs within project timelines.

• Leadership and mentoring skills, with the ability to guide and inspire junior designers.

• Experience working in an agile development environment and collaborating closely with developers.

We are currently seeking a talented and creative Freelance Logo Designer to collaborate with our team on the upcoming project. Are you interested in not just the software, but also the users behind it? We are seeking a detail-oriented and innovative UX Designer to enhance our users’ experience and deliver consistent, effective, and engaging designs across our product. Our goal is to deliver an experience that our customers love and rely on. We’ll empower you with information and a supportive team to do your best work.

You’ll ideally bring with you:

• 2+ years of professional UX design or similar role
• A strong online portfolio, demonstrating craft and process that also demonstrates proficiency in a variety of visual design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, PhotoShop or similar.
• 2-3 case studies illustrating your train of thought
• Experience with design systems or design libraries/components
• Experience and well developed skills in storyboarding, wireframing, interaction design, user flows, whiteboarding, mock-ups, and prototyping
• Strong understanding of UX Principles & Web and mobile user experience design
• Experience conducting user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
• An understanding of the construction sector and the needs of construction organizations across multiple verticals is preferred, but not essential
• Bachelor’s degree, formal training, or certifications in design, human-computer interaction, psychology, digital communications, or a related field is preferred but not essential.
• Experience designing dashboards, data visualizations and data storytelling will be an advantage, as is proficiency in working with Excel, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI and/or other data-oriented tools
• Experience with PDF document design
• Experience working with relational databases
• B2B, construction or enterprise SaaS experience are all pluses

What success looks like

In your first month, you’ll complete onboarding, familiarizing yourself with our products, processes, and people, and e into our design library, standards, and guides. You will also begin your journey into understanding our customer profiles and business requirements by participating in preliminary user research and interviews. This will enable you to effectively integrate customer needs into our UX designs.

By the end of your second month, you will be comfortable collaborating with the product and engineering team, and will begin proactively identifying areas of improvement in our UX. You’ll be able to produce high-quality mock-ups and prototypes using Figma and other tools. We will work together to plan a strategy around research and usability testing and how to use the insights to drive innovative design solutions.
