Verda - A Media and Film Production company that produces online media content for YouTube & other sites.
I want you to create a Logo for the company. I want it to look timeless, yet modern, but not too modern to where it doesn't fit in. A sort of established feel as though the company has been around for a while (but not outdated).
The logo only needs to be the word "Verda" and perhaps space for "Verda Studios", "Verda Labs", etc. underneath the main design. It won't require a design alongside it as of now, just a focus on the text.
Some of the main production companies I guess give the feel for what audience we're targeting, so that it doesn't get mistaken for another type of company.
For colours, I'm unsure but was leaning towards a cinema feel. However I don't want it to be a copy of Netflix so the Red, White, Black scheme might not work well. I attached a blue similar cinema that could perhaps work but I want you to play around and see what you think works best too.
If you have any questions just shoot me a message and I'll be happy to get back to you!

If you are selected to move forward in our application process and need to request an accommodation, please let your recruiter or coordinator know.
**Basis, a small but mighty product design & strategy studio, is growing! We’re looking for a Product Designer to help us create thoughtful, usable experiences for our internal and client-facing projects.
**About the role
You’ll be helping us workshop, prototype, and build new features and products across a variety of industries and verticals.
You’ll go from conceptual ideas and sketches to high-fidelity designs using industry-leading best practices. (read: we <3 auto-layout in Figma)
You’ll work tightly (but remotely) with facilitators, designers, developers, and product people; both internally and with our client teams.
Most importantly, you’ll get the chance to lead, to learn, and to grow, with the ability to define your own role as we continue to grow alongside you.
To give you a better picture of what you might be working on, here are a few examples of what we’ve been doing lately:
- Ideating, workshopping, prototyping, and building new features for an industry-leading freelance marketplace.
- Establishing design system standards & detailed developer specifications for a web application in the finance space.
- Using workshops and rapid prototyping to drive a refreshed, focused vision & product philosophy for an award-winning medical application.
About you
You have a “Manager of one” mentality; you don’t need goals or direction spelled out for you. You lead by example and set your own course. You approach work with a resourceful, entrepreneurial spirit.
You’re an expert communicator, both verbal and written. You’ve spent time developing your communication style to state your case and help people understand complex things. You make effective use of remote and asynchronous communication tools.
You default to thinking in systems. You know that simple does not always mean easy, and you’ve honed your ability to think deeply about the connectedness of design.
Above all, you lead with curiosity and kindness, always eager to learn new things. You approach every project with a beginner’s mindset, knowing that there’s always an opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge.
Bonus points: experience translating designs to HTML / CSS. We’ll never ask you to code, but we highly value practical, buildable design.
_
Bonus points: experience in facilitating workshops using techniques like the Design Sprint methodology._About Us
We’re Basis, a small but mighty product design & strategy studio helping companies of many shapes + sizes get big ideas off the ground quickly and efficiently.
We consider ourselves builders and facilitators, not just designers; we’re big on the “grow as you go” mindset, willing to get our hands dirty while there are still some unanswered questions, expecting to iterate and learn along the way. (We’re also really, really big on asking thoughtful questions.)
We’re a small company on purpose; we believe the best work comes from tightly collaborative teams made up of smart people who like to work together.
We’re a remote-first company. We believe that when creative people have the flexibility to design their lifestyle, great things are possible, at work and otherwise.
Our Tool Stack
Design: Figma, Figjam
Comms: Loom, Slack
Project / Ops Management: Basecamp, Notion, Harvest
How to Apply / What to Expect
This is a flexible part-time contract position, with an opportunity for a full-time hire after 6 months. Salary is from $5,500 to $6500 (CAD) per month for a time commitment of 20-30 hours per week.
Please send us an application including a CV, a link to your portfolio, and a short cover letter or message. Tell us a little bit about you, some of your relevant experience, and what excites you about the work you do.
We’ll review all applications over the course of a few weeks. Regardless of whether or not we move forward, you’ll hear from us about the status of your application and whether we’d like to invite you to interview.
If you’re a candidate, we’ll invite you for an informal conversation with the founders. We’ll talk about your background and your approach to work, including a walkthrough of one of your favourite portfolio projects.
After this initial step, we’ll ask our top candidates back for a more structured whiteboard session; this is a hands-on way to help us understand the way you think and assess problems, but also gives you a chance to get a feel for the way we work as well.
We’re aiming to make an offer by the end of August, with a flexible start date in September.
**Note that to be hired for this position, you will be required to sign an NDA and also possess business insurance of $2M (CAD). If you have questions about this, we’re happy to walk you through it.
**If this role speaks to you, we encourage creative thinkers from all backgrounds to apply.
We’re looking forward to hearing from you!
Please make sure to submit your professional portfolio in English while applying!

I am looking for some support. I am developing a coaching company for the next generation of leaders. We want people to lead different. We want people to accomplish their organizational goals without compromising their personal goals, or burning out. At VAST coaching we want our members to Lead with Well-being. We are a curious, compassionate, collaborative and creative community for our members. We focus on supporting the next generation of leaders. We are trauma informed, neuro-inclusive and focus on strengths based and person centered coaching. As the founder I want this brand to inspire people to break from the exploitive traditions of business and leadership. We offer inidualized programs, small private groups, one on one and a members area that offers a continually expanding libabry of resources and our members can use those resources to become an ICF credential MCC. The brand should appeal to 25-35 year olds, who suspect they might be in the 20% of adults who are not aware that they have ADHD, but are frustrated from trying things the traditional way. This brand should appeal to innovators, explorers archetypes and those who are passionate about making a change in the world through their business.

Who We Are
Roboflow is a venture-backed SaaS startup that empowers innovators all over the world to build, train, and deploy computer vision models. Roboflow believes that computer vision is a foundation technology that will transform nearly every industry. We currently have over 250,000 users, including half of the Fortune 100. You’ll help us craft our brand identity and figure out how to best communicate and adjust it as necessary. We also believe in championing our superpowers and leaning into how we can grow and excel with them. We’d love to have a designer interested in flexing and growing their product design and user experience skills as well, especially in the context of crafting design components, improving our usability and aesthetic, and contributing to product initiatives to eventually lead your own.
As an early hire both from a company and design organization perspective, you’ll have an immense impact on the product and the direction of Design and Marketing at Roboflow.

As long as it’s known 👇
What matters is this…
When the chips are down
And your back is against the wall
Can we count on you to make the right call?
Judgment, intuition, or care by another name
We call it “Owning The Outcome” - because it really is the whole game
Have the customers back, and they will treat you the same
If you can do that
Then we’re birds of the same feather
So come join our team and we’ll make music together.
